Bio

Scottish ‘lass’ relocated to Leicester in 2021 for trauma & orthopaedic surgery training. Having developed a love of research throughout undergraduate and postgraduate training, I completed the Academic Foundation Programme in Aberdeen and an Academic Clinical Fellowship in Leicester. I commenced my PhD in August 2025, supported by the National Joint Registry / Orthopaedic Research UK / Royal College of Surgeons of England Research Fellowship. My specific interests are in the use of registry data and routinely collected datasets to understand and improve patient-centred outcomes. Outside of work I am a wife, foodie and dog-parent to a cocker spaniel cross labrador.
