Bio

Ibrahim Haq is an orthopaedic trainee with broad experience across trauma and elective practice, having worked in both major trauma centres and district general hospitals.

 

Ibrahim currently leads the Young Adult Hip Project (YAHP) Priority Setting Partnership as part of his MPhil at the University of Cambridge. This project has been awarded  funding by the British Hip Society and brings together patients, clinicians, and allied health professionals to co-produce a shared research agenda using established priority-setting methodology. The work has generated substantial national engagement from both patients and healthcare professionals and is progressing towards a final consensus workshop to agree priority research themes that will inform future clinical research in this area.

 

Ibrahim is actively involved in research having published 15 peer-review articles. He has presented his work at national and international meetings, and he was awarded the Orthoregeneration Network Open Education Grant, which supported the presentation of his work in the United States.

 

Ibrahim has contributed to the Knowledge Translation team at The Bone and Joint Journal, supporting the dissemination of high-quality orthopaedic research through educational and digital platforms.
